Site analytics and administration

We record first-party visit IDs, referring host, landing page and UTM campaign tags to understand signups and purchases. We do not store raw IP addresses in analytics. No persistent analytics cookie is set. Visit IDs are scoped to the current session; unconverted visit records are removed after 90 days by our scheduled cleanup. Signup attribution can remain linked to your account. We honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for traffic tracking. Logged-in activity timestamps support service administration. Authorised administrators may view reports for support; sensitive admin actions are logged. Contact support for access or deletion requests.

We collect account name, email, password hash, optional gender and relationship status, birth name/date/time/place, current location, questions, readings and subscription/payment identifiers to deliver your membership. Card or UPI credentials are handled by Razorpay, not stored by this app.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google processes authentication and shares your account identifier, name and verified email. We store that identifier to recognise your account, including if your Google email changes. We do not receive your Google password or request Gmail, Drive or Calendar access. Google sign-in uses Google services in your browser. Account linking requires your existing Astroshark password. New Google accounts do not have an Astroshark password unless you set one using email recovery.

Service providers

OpenAI processes calculated chart data, numerology numbers and your questions to produce readings. FreeAstrologyAPI processes birth date/time and location for planetary calculations. Razorpay processes billing. Resend processes recipient addresses and transactional email content for delivery. Your hosting provider processes account and delivery data. Provider processing may occur outside India; their terms apply.

When measurement is enabled, server-side Meta Conversions API receives public sales/checkout page views, checkout starts and verified first purchases. Events can include IP address, browser user agent, hashed email for checkout matching, payment value and a unique event ID. Hashing does not make data anonymous. We do not send birth details, readings, reports or chat content to Meta. No Meta browser script, advertising cookies, fbp/fbc identifiers or localStorage trackers are used. Essential session cookies keep you signed in. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable browser-originated measurement. Checkout context expires after seven days; queued event payloads are erased after delivery and records after 30 days. We retain transactional email delivery metadata to troubleshoot notifications and prevent duplicates. Queued reset links are encrypted and expire; email body copies are removed after 30 days. We do not sell personal information. Keep other people's sensitive information out of chat.

Retention and requests

We retain your account and readings while your account exists, including during subscription expiry so renewal can restore eligible access. Expiry alone does not delete your data. Contact support for access, correction, export or deletion. We verify identity and aim to respond within 30 days; billing records may be retained where required.
